- Complete drawings, specifications and schedules before you are asked to price, so you price what will actually be built
- Samples and shop drawings reviewed and approved before fabrication begins
- Purchase orders with written conditions, not verbal instructions
- Decisions recorded while they are current, so scope questions are settled on paper, not from memory
- Payment terms stated before work starts: procurement is client-funded and funds precede orders
- Variations priced and approved before execution, with the narrative recorded honestly
What we expect.
- Price from the documents, and state plainly what your quotation excludes
- No substitutions without written approval: veneer and laminate are not interchangeable, and neither is anything else
- Programme honesty: lead times and deposits declared up front
- Finished work protected until handover
- Snagging closed against the documentation, and the defects liability period honoured
On commercial arrangements: any trade incentives or discounts we hold are disclosed and must never influence what we recommend to a client. Transparent arrangements only.
