Burj Khalifa — Private Apartment
The client wanted to be living here within two months. Inside the Burj Khalifa every delivery and every contractor works to the tower's own protocols, so the programme shaped the design: a short list of decisions, made once, and the joinery ordered before anything else.

The tower's own structural column runs straight through the living room. Rather than box it in, we wrapped it in backlit stone and built the bar into its curve.

The bedroom is small, so nothing sits on the floor that doesn't have to: leather panelling the full width of the wall, bedside tables floated, a ledge for the art instead of frames on hooks.

A faceted mirror set against the glass, so the city arrives in the room twice.
